Urologist Matthew Loughlin, MD, Begins Morgan City Practice

Morgan City, LA • Continuing the expansion of its hospital medical staff, Teche Regional Medical Center's new Chief Executive Officer, Butch Frazier announced the opening of the Urology Practice of Matthew Loughlin, M.D.

"We are pleased to welcome Dr. Loughlin to Morgan City and to St. Mary parish as he begins the practice of Urology through his new office," said Frazier.   Dr. Loughlin's practice will fill a much needed area in the field of healthcare, helping fulfill our ongoing commitment of bringing necessary, and accessible healthcare services right here close to home," he adds.

Dr. Loughlin earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the New York Medical College in White Plains, New York. He completed his general surgery and urology residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany New York.

Dr. Loughlin is a member of the American Urology Association, Diplomat of the American Board of Urology, and Fellow of American College of Surgeons. In his spare time he enjoys golf, skiing, basketball and time with his daughter and two sons.

Dr. Loughlin's practice is located at 1302 Lakewood Drive, Suite 101 in the Teche Regional Medical Center new Medical Office Building.  His office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:00pm. He is accepting new patients by calling 985-329-2224.
