Teche Regional CEO, Butch Frazier Becomes Parish Leader

8/6/2012

Teche Regional Medical Center’s CEO Butch Frazier recently completed the first ever Leadership St. Mary program presented by the chamber.  The course was constructed of only 20 select individuals from the parish. “It was an honor to be asked to be a part of this great program,” said Frazier.

Leadership St. Mary was developed to help recruit and develop leaders who will be active and involved in moving St. Mary Parish forward.  The future focus of these leaders is on improving the business, educational, governmental, and community (quality of life) environments in St. Mary Parish.

The 20 leaders were recruited by the St. Mary Chamber of Commerce.  They were comprised of the business, educational, medical, agriculture, and governmental sectors as well as non-profit organizations and the general public.  To ensure a balanced group, no one sector had over 30 % of the total group size.

Upon completion of the course, Butch received a certificate of completion along with a key to the parish presented to him by Paul Naquin, St. Mary Parish President.
